If you've had the pleasure of the wonderful dining experience at Auckland's Sunday Painters restaurant you'll know their food uses fresh and local ingredients and references French cuisine. Head Chef Beki Lamb has planted out the Sunday Painters kitchen garden with herbs and edible flowers with which to furbish the plates. As well as being edible, the flowers make the food look gorgeous. Some suggested flowers are: Borage, Nasturtium, Pansies, Bean flowers, Calendula, Lavender, Rose Petals and herb flowers.
